I disagree with that, I had several long in-depth discussions with my fellow students during my online course. It was done via discussion boards, which allowed everyone to contribute thoughtful responses and share new resources and websites. I learned a lot from my co-participants. I made excellent connections with people I had never met face-to-face, we even shared parenting stories. Online courses let me have the flexibility to spend time with my kids and complete projects when it was more convenient for me, usually after they went to bed!"
